In person: Wherever you are, collect trash in advance (a maximum of one bag per person) and bring it to our activity location, which will be shared closer to the event. Please discard/recycle dirty trash or glass right away – we want to minimize the risk for all participants. We’ll then create 2D art pieces together (example) and discuss various topics of ocean conservation from the campaign “Because Our Planet Is Blue“. 

From anywhere: If you can’t participate in an activity in person, you can still contribute by sharing the project and picking up at least 1 piece of trash (or perhaps creating a small 2D ocean awareness art piece on the ground). Send us your photo (upload here) with your message for the ocean, tag us in your story or post and encourage your friends to sign and share the petition too. We will compile all photos and take them with us for the main purpose of this project: to generate excitement for the campaign leading up to the United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice. With your support, we create more impactful visuals that will encourage decision-makers to consider what we need to protect the base of life on our planet.

The NGO OceanCare has created the campaign “Because Our Planet Is Blue”, which consists of 6 steps to protect the ocean. Please read all the details about the campaign here – it’s worth reading and spreading with your bubble.
