Aria is Italian by origin, Portuguese by adoption and creative by nature.Karma Collection – what you give to the planet, the ocean gives you back -, was born in Baleal in 2017 as a complaint against human ignorance, as well as an attempt to transform the trash that covers the shores into something that makes people smile, and maybe, think.

With this purpose, the collection is created as a series of sarcastic and imaginarycreatures, ones of a kind made by what the ocean receives from human being’scarelessness. Plastic, wood and metal carved by water, sun and salt, returning to theshore as a reminder that life is a mirror reflecting our actions.

“It would be a dream if people could become aware that what we throw away does notdisappear, either in the sea or underground, but returns to us in another form. From mypoint of view, true cleaning should start with human minds, deep down”.
